Thursday, June 26th
2008, my wife and I were
married at the County
Court by the Honorable
Judge Louis Reich. Upon
arriving at Buffalo
Creek Ranch, we were
taken back the grand
entrance. When we saw
how private the cottages
were, we were overjoyed!
It was all the little
touches that you put
into the cottage that
really impressed us. We
also enjoyed the deer
feeder and were very
excited to spend a
morning on the Patio
watching the deer
feedover our morning
coffee.
Because of all the care
you put into the place,
my wife and I are happy
to say that Buffalo
Creek Ranch will be an
annual tradition to
celebrate our wedding
anniversary.

the “Settlers Cottage”
so for our 25th
Anniversary we knew that
the “Spa Cottage” was
where we wanted

saw five deer this time
vs. 12-17 we saw last
time, but on both trips
walked up on a new born
fawn. The country

and hot yummy muffins!
My husband treated me to
a night out in the
country by myself as he
watched our 1 year old
son. How great it was to
watch TV undisturbed and
to sleep soundly through
the night. What a
treat!!

ourselves, except we
were treated to the best
beds, Jacuzzi baths and
air-conditioning any old
west settler would have
loved. Our boys loved
the flat screen TV and
DVD.

This is just what I was
looking for when I
hunted on-line for
cabins--private, rustic
but comfortable. The
deer were great!! We see
deer every day at our
place but not so many!!!
Thank you for your
hospitality and for
accommodating our
schedule. (with John's
permission) We fished in
one of the ponds but
only briefly, since it
was getting dark--in
only 20 minutes, we
caught five!!! (But do
not worry--we threw them
back for the next
visitors!!)

stay in the cottages.
What a great way to
celebrate our 55th
anniversary. The rustic
atmosphere was an added
attraction along with
the muffins. We enjoyed
watching the animals:
cows, deer, and donkey
along with the cat. What

Today is our first day
here. Me and Jason got
married yesterday and
wanted somewhere to
relax and so far this is
perfect, Oh Yah and tub
is perfect for a nice
Bubble Bath. We drove
around the land today
before eating dinner
downtown. This town is
beautiful. We will let
you know how the rest of
our stay goes.
Today we spent our
entire time down on Main
Street. Shopping and
eating. Everyone in this
town is so nice. Today
was a great day.

My husband, sons, and I
stayed the weekend and
really enjoyed the
Settler's cottage. It is
sooo cute and rustic. We
went to town and enjoyed
shopping, the Christmas
lights and decorations.
The food was great.
The muffins were yummy
and were a good touch to
the stay. I really liked
the way the food for
breakfast was arranged.
We went to Lukenbach,
Texas and the scenery
was just gorgeous the
hills and sky.
The deer was very
pretty...

cottage. we thought of
it as camping but
better. We love to camp

The wildlife and fishing

We really enjoyed your
lovely cabin. This
weekend was a retreat
weekend for my husband
and me. We have not been
to Fredericksburg in
over 10 years.
It was a combined 40th
and 45th birthday
present to us, a weekend
away from life, kids,
jobs etc. It was just
what we needed.
Thank you for a lovely
sanctuary. The cabin was
beautiful, it was very
cozy and you thought of
everything.

We had a much needed,
restful, relaxing stay
here. The rustic charm
and ranch feel made us
feel welcome and cozy.
We tracked through the
back woods to find a
fishing hole with
catfish. Thank you for

reminds me of the little
home my grandparents
help to live in. Simple
